The rules for using this site, requesting a seat, nominating a business, and appearing on the show. Short version: be straight with us, and we will be straight with you.
By using thehonorrollshow.com, submitting a form, or appearing as a guest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
These terms are between you and Connor T. MacIvor, who produces The Honor Roll Show. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean The Honor Roll Show.
The Honor Roll Show is an interview show about Santa Clarita Valley businesses and the people who run them. Episodes are published on YouTube, on podcast platforms, and on this site.
The show is invitation only. Guests are selected because of the business they run and the story behind it, not because they paid. We do not accept payment for an appearance, a favorable interview, or a spot on the Honor Roll. Anyone claiming they can sell you a seat is not speaking for us.
Sponsorships, when they exist, are separate from guest selection and are disclosed as sponsorships.
Anyone can request a seat through the form on this site. Submitting a request does not guarantee an appearance, and we are under no obligation to book, record, or publish any episode.
When you submit a request, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate, that you are authorized to speak for the business you name, and that you are at least 18 years old.
We may decline or cancel a booking at any time, before or after recording, for any reason. If we decline, it is not a judgment of your business. Scheduling, fit, and timing account for most of it.
The Nomination is part of how this show works. You can recommend a business you think belongs on the Honor Roll.
When you nominate someone, you confirm that the contact information you provide is accurate and that you have a genuine basis for the recommendation. We may tell the business who nominated them, because that is usually the best part. If you want to stay anonymous, say so in the message field and we will honor it.
Do not use the nomination form to submit someone as a joke, to harass anyone, or to pass along contact details you obtained improperly.
Episodes are recorded on video and audio. By appearing as a guest, you agree to the following. If any of it is a problem, tell us before we record and we will work it out or pass on the episode.
You keep all rights to your own business, brand, trademarks, and materials. This license covers the recording of your appearance, nothing more.
Some guests receive The Install, an artificial intelligence build made for their business and given to them on air at no cost. When that happens:
Nothing on this site or in any episode is legal, financial, tax, medical, or investment advice. Guests speak for themselves, and their statements are their own, not ours.
Connor T. MacIvor is a licensed California real estate salesperson, CalDRE #01238257. Nothing here creates an agency relationship, and nothing here is a solicitation for a property already listed with another broker.
Guests appear from many industries, including lending, health, and professional services. An appearance is not an endorsement, a referral, or a recommendation that you hire anyone. Do your own diligence before you hire, invest, or make a health decision. If a guest says something that applies to your situation, talk to a licensed professional about your situation.
The show's name, logo, star mark, episode recordings, written content, and site design belong to us. You may not copy, republish, or repackage them as your own.
Guests are encouraged to share their own episode. You may post, embed, clip, and promote the episode you appear in, on any platform, for as long as you like. Keep the show's name and mark attached to it and do not edit it to change what anyone said.
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, contact us with the details and we will look into it and remove anything that should not be there.
If you check a consent box on our form, you agree to receive text messages of the type you consented to. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of appearing on the show or of any purchase. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Do not use this site to submit false information, impersonate anyone, harvest contact data, send automated submissions, probe or attack the site, or upload anything unlawful. We may block access and preserve records if you do.
This site links to YouTube, podcast platforms, guest websites, and other businesses. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their terms, or their privacy practices. Watching an episode on a third-party platform means you are also subject to that platform's terms.
This site and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of this site, an appearance on the show, or The Install. Our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
